Promise expanded his skills to co-found "Bankshot Media", a creative production company in the Triad,NC area. The goal was to create hybrid experiences that anyone could participate in. The company grew into a sports marketing company that that continues to develop events, installations, and data research to maximize fan engagement for small to mid-size sports clubs.

I have put all my knowledge and skills into real-life applications to see growth in various projects and organizations. Below are a few case studies I have worked on the past few years.
Say Word FC was accepted into the TST 7v7 $1,000,000 tournament in Cary, NC June 2023. This start-up organization had two major hurdles: Create and build brand recognition withing a 7-month period in the Triad area, & build a team of soccer players that contribute to the current culture of soccer in America. The owner of SWFC wanted a similar logo like the "Raiders", but with hip-hop elements.
Promise Mangum created the custom logo and began a brand development plan that conveyed both sets of targets; potential players and fans. The custom logo, website, and brand messaging is crucial to the overall trajectory of the organization.
The brand rollout is in its initial phase and awareness of the new brand is beginning to gain traction. Say Word FC is already seeing an increase in customer engagement on YouTube and Instagram.
Bankshot Media wanted to expand their company and incorporate an annual event into what they offer as a service. With a minimal budget, we had to find a way to gain attention and have an educational component for young sports participants beyond their collegiate years.
Promise Mangum brand development plan targeted Bankshot's core values; Sport & Music. We were able to secure a sports training venue that created synergy for both brands, secure 8 speakers that spoke on a range of topics from "Name, Image, & Likeness laws" Financial Literacy for athletes, Indie Artist in Sports, And expanding fanbases in Web3.0. We also secured artist for their concert series.
Over 50 athletes, artist, parents, and community members showed up to learn and network. this was the first major event outside our hybrid competitions that grossed money. We noticed more participants were eager to learn more, therefore we restructured the event for the middle of summer 2023.
Bankshot Media wanted to provide a unique gaming experience for the under-representated community in East Winston. Increasing participation of within the esports & video game industry would help students find new opportunities for college in the Triad.
Created a Bi-Monthly Meet-up at Minnie Lee David Harris Community Center with a focus on sports related gaming and team development. We partnered up with "Dash City Gaming" to provide the curriculum during the time. Students were able to stream their games on Twitch and YouTube, create profiles, and build up up a portfolio for themselves that could be used in college.
Our impact report for Q2 & Q3 grew by 80%. We had over 100 students total participate in our game nights, and we were able to build a relationship with other community organizers to expand beyonmd the recreation center. We are returning in March 2023 to MLDH Community Center in hopes too reach 250 students.
March 2021, the South by Southwest Festival (SXSW) was 100% online. We were able to become one of the presenters doing this time. We were tasked to showcase our hybrid basketball competition where players from across the country participated in a "horse-style" competition.
We were able to stream and broadcast the hour-long competition to 640,000 during prime-time. We had two production studios manage the stream as well as all the players patch in with their camera phones to create a seamless broadcast.
Our live-stream/ broadcast had over 2,500 views, and we Won our first Small Business Grant for Experimental Marketing from the Kukua Institution in Florida.
